Incoming Kindergarten
Families of incoming Kindergarten students! Your child is eligible to register for Kindergarten if they turn 5 on or before September 1, 2026. If you have not already, be sure to register your child now!
- All Kindergarten Registration happens through the Parent Information Center. Please visit Kindergarten Registration Information
- Paper registration packets will be provided to families upon request. Reach out to the PIC at PIC@walthampublicschools.org or call 781-314-5524 (English) 781-314-5668 (Español).
- All forms & required documents may be submitted via email, fax, or the secure drop box located in front of WHS.
- PIC staff will follow up as needed using email, phone calls and/or letters sent home.
Kindergarten Screening will take place late August/early September. Your child’s Screening date will be shared with you by the PIC.
WPS Kindergarten students' first day of school is Thursday, September 10th, 2026.
